Saturday 28 August, 8pm, Princes Street Gardens, £12.50 / £10.00
Ken Kesey returns to the Flux Festival with the Magic Bus, all of the
original pranksters and a line-up of special guests (to be announced).
The
author of 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' Kesey was the founding
figure
of the American counter culture between the Beat Generation and the
Hippie
movement. His 60's 'Acid Test' launched The Grateful Dead, the Acid
explosion and the Summer of Love. Pranksterism turned Woodstock into a
free
festival and more recently was the inspiration for the Rave Generation.
Don't miss this unique, open air, psychadelic trip. In association with
the
Edinburgh International Book Festival
