OFF: Gong in Tokyo

Not to be too nit-picky (OK, I AM being too nit-picky), but the very wild,
very cool female trio that performed with Daevid Allen in Japan are eX-Girl
(singular, note capitalization).  Their presence on the web can be viewed at:

My band, Dogbreath, opened for them in SF a few months ago
(http://www.sfweekly.com/archives/1998/031099/tudor1.html).  It was a
blast!  They're pretty great; check 'em out ...

P.S. Melting Euphoria haven't played out in ages, as far as I know.  I have
no idea whether they're still together or not, since I never followed their
career too closely (except when I heard that they had a former member of
the Lewd playing with them).  I guess Chris knows better than I!

P.P.S. Heard from Brian Wensing of F/i today, who essentially confirmed the
speculations I posted a couple of days ago.  He says that they're working
on some new material and will be playing out again sometime, although not
at Strange Daze.
