I think it'd have been a much better movie with either Daleks or
Cybermen in it, though maybe updated versions of 'em.

The real problem with the movie was that, as with others, they spent so
much of the movie explaining who the Doctor was, and even why he wore a
scarf, that there just wasn't any time left for a plot. That the plot
concerned time running out was ironically apposite.

Paul McGann, IMHO, would clearly make a better Doctor than some of the
later ones in the TV series. Perhaps when they find the plot...
