Yeah! I was thinking the same thing. On that Steve Winwood/Traffic thing
(below), I was saying to myself...well, why not vote in Blind Faith which
would give them *another* reason to invite Clapton once more.

I caught part of the E.C. interview on 60 minutes here, and (of course) the
obligatory 'strung out on drugs' until XXXX date, and then clean ever since,
and how much life is better now....that was all there, but what they failed
to explain was why it is that all of his music has absolutely sucked since
becoming sober. For once I'd like to hear them try to explain that in a
politically-correct atmosphere. Or 'haze', I should say.

Thank God. I don't want there to be anything included that would make me
consider going to visit the damn thing. With luck, Lake Erie will continue
migrating southward and take the thing out into the water and over Niagara
Falls. I'd pay to watch that!

Good for you, Ozzy. It would be best for them to skip the whole thing now.
Christ, 1970-75 likely produced over half of my favourite 100 rock albums of
all time (if I were to compile such a list). I'm fine with *my* RnRHoF
being the antithesis of theirs.

Ha! Social upheaval...yes. Rock music...total bollocks.

"Kind of"?? :) Well, who doesn't? That doesn't explain the Rolling Stones
being in.

Wow! Multitalented...oooh, he could sing *and* play keyboards. No one else
ever tried that before! :) And innovative! Doesn't get much more
innovative than Traffic, fer chrissakes! :) OK, OK, I really do rather
like Traffic as far as classic rock goes, but get real...talk about flowery
overstatements.

And don't forget Human League and Soft Cell...certainly *they* belong. (I
can't wait for 2008 when New Wavers are in and Ozzy's still telling them to
fuck off.)
