BOC: weird BOC skit on SNL

Did anyone catch the BOC skit on SNL tonight (4/7/2000)??  I wasn't
paying attention to the beginning, so I kind of missed the premise of it
all.  Anyway, it had the band in the studio, recording "(Don't Fear) The
Reaper," with a big-name producer and "plenty of cowbell" by someone
called Gene (who looked like Eric) so it would be a guaranteed gold
record.

Like I said, I didn't really get what it was all about, but I have to
say the cast did uncannily funny likenesses of the BOC members
themselves (especially with the 70s garb). :-)
