Metallica SUCKS!

my 2 cents:
metallica was destryed by 2 things:

the death of cliff burton, from wich they never recovered. (listen to ...and
justice for all and TRY to hear ANY bass guitar. there is NONE.)

the loss of dave mustaine's riffs. They ran out after puppets (except one bit
on justice) and it's been downhill ever since. since then, their most
compelling works have been covers, where they apply their doubtlessly
pioneering and vital sound to songs written by others who are more capable.

that's it! a done deal for over 10 years.
