Nick and I did an interview with Yahoo when we were in Austin, Texas for
the SXSW festival recently and it is now up on Yahoo's website. We also
perform a couple of songs acoustically. If you want to view it just
click on: www.broadcast.com/music/interviews/bevisfrond
There are 4 options for viewing this depending on the speed of your
modem. If you have an ISDN or better you'll get perfect graphics, if not
try the bottom right of the 4 options, jerky graphics but good sound.

Also our good friend Nick Bensen has compiled a very nice Woronzow page
on his superb Free City Media site. If you open: FreeCityMedia.com. on
your web browser it'll take you there. Whilst I'm on the subject you
might want to check out Nick Bensen's excellent "Psychedelic Juggernaut"
CD.

Nick S., Andy Ward and myself have been in the studio recording the new
Frond album and all indications are that it's going to be a corker. I
still can't believe quite how prolific Nick is in the songwriting
department. We had 23 brand new songs to choose from and would have had
more if I hadn't put a cover over his cage.

Hope to see some of you at the Standard Music Venue on the 7th May and
some of our German friends between the 11th and 13th of May (see gig
guide above).

Last but not least Acid Jam 2 is nearing completion and now has a lineup
of:
Nick Saloman, Andy Ward, Ade Shaw, Ric Gunther, The Lucky Bishops, Paul
Simmons, Tony Hill, Rustic Rod Goodway, Jon Guard, Debbie Saloman, Mat
Love, Simon House, Bari Watts, Steve Broughton and the very wonderful
Grenville Hammond. It should be out in 3-4 weeks and will be CD only.
PLUS
All the way from Australia, Vic Conrad and the First Third's debut album
is due out around the same time. It'll be on CD Digipak and 180 Gm vinyl
and is a superb mixture of melodic quirkiness.
We will inform you of the exact release date of these records as soon as
we know them.

NOT TO MENTION
The heaviest album of the Millenium (so far, anyway) "Scorched Earth"
will be out soon along with the latest solo outing from the Alchemysts,
"Zero Zen". Does life get any better than this?
ONE LAST THING, honest,
My very old friend and High Tide's main man, Tony Hill, has been located
by low-flying aircraft in south east London. Nick and I took him over to
our favourite Goldust Studio and with the help of Andy Ward recorded a
couple of tracks for Acid Jam 2. We were delighted to find his
extraordinary talent is still in one piece and as a result are planning
a brand new Tony Hill album. He's currently working on the songs and we
should be in the studio soon. We are hoping Pete Pavli, High Tide's
bassist extrordinaire, will also be part of this project. Incidentally,
if you've never heard High Tide check out either of their first 2
albums, Sea Shanties and High Tide. They are both wonderful and two of
both Nick and my favourite all-time albums.
That's all for now, thanks for sticking it out to the end, if you'll
pardon the expression,
All the best,
Ade
