HW: '82 Chain

Maybe part of the problem w/ this chain is the way that it's structured.
Maybe, others have not done chains before either.

Most of the time, things are handled as a tree. Someone has the show and
people volunteer to be a branch if they can make copies and others are
merely leaves. The leaves handle their portion by doing B&P's.

For those of you that don't know, a B&P is Blanks and return postage.

Maybe someone thought that they could keep the copy...

I personally don't think that the chain idea works that well. It seems as
though the recent posts are evidence to support this fact.

I did a couple trees on this list this year and they worked fine.

I suggest that in the future we go back to the tree structure. This will
make each participant responsible more for themselves and others less
dependent on someone in front of them.

This does put more responsibility on the person that has the source show. If
that person does not want the responsibility, they could make a copy of the
show for someone that will accept the responsibility. If not, that should
not even bother in the first place.

Just a thought.
