hey - I'd forgotten all that. For those that are unaware here, I used to run
Lotus Records Mail Order in Stoke-On-Trent throughut the eighties (then Mike
Lloyd Music Mail Order in the first half of the nineties) and Richard is
right - when I asked the  higher powers that I worked for, they told me that
knocking off the VAT on foreign orders was not done, so we never did it. It
wasn't until I got to CD Services that I was told the correct way of doing
it, which probably accounts for why the old place went bust earlier on this
year.
Forgiven me yet Richard????
