"The Dave Brockie Experience"

Slave Pit Inc., which has brought you bands like GWAR, The X-Cops, and Death
Piggy, now present a new wrinkle in their musical butt -- Dave Brockie
Experience. Dave Brockie is the human alter-ego of Oderus Urungus, lead
singer of GWAR, and along with his GWAR bandmates Mike Derks (Balsac) and
Brad Roberts (Jizmak), have created a unique musical "mess-terpiece" that at
once celebrates the tunes of the Slave Pit, while simultaneously exposing
you to a load of, uh, new crap! A DBE show is likely to contain equal parts
loud and obnoxious new music (played by old people), touching acoustical
ballads (that are incredibly stupid), and stand-up comedy (that's not really
funny). What a DBE show really thrives on is CHAOS. The music has an
improvisational element that assures a
different performance everytime. Brockie and his cohorts have been creating
bands for years, before GWAR was even a rumor -- this chance to play without
eight-hundred pounds of bloody latex hanging off of 'em marks a resurgent
chapter in the development of some of the underground's most prolific and
dedicated artists. A chapter in which not many people show up...and those
who do wish GWAR would come back.
