I'd say we just need a room to party in after the gig etc. The hotel
will need to be told that'd be a late night, but they'd prolly expect
that around xmas anyway. Obviously we can fetch our own beer etc if
needed.

Seems to me that the best way to confirm all this is for the band to
book their places at the selected hotel, and then we'll all do the same
either jointly or corporately.
