I know this is probably a gross generalization, but judging by the
presentation of musical acts in our local casino, here are a few
caveats:

the shows are typically a little short.  Don't expect more than an hour-
and-a-half gig.

No alcohol!  At least not in the Turning Stone.  Maybe different out
west.

High cost.  The turning Stone charges from 25 to fifty bucks for acts.
I think they charged 35 bucks for BOC last time they played there!

the plus side?

Cabaret-style seating.  Nice, comfortable chairs seated at a table in a
small room.

Intimate setting probably means a good view of the action...

your mileage may vary--maybe this casino is nothing like the Turning
Stone...
