Motörhead announces rescheduled shows

by Alexa Williamson - LiveDaily Staff Writer

LONDON--Motörhead has rescheduled three December dates that it canceled
after lead singer Lemmy Kilmister collapsed from exhaustion while on tour in
Italy. The thrash metal group will now make up the shows in May.

The new dates are May 21 at Manchester Apollo, May 22 at Wolverhampton Civic
Hall and May 23 at London Forum. All tickets already purchased are valid for
the new dates, or they can be returned to the point of purchase for refunds.

According to a statement, Kilmister was on the way to a complete recovery
after "getting to the end of his crate of [glucose drink] Lucozade (mixed
with bourbon, no doubt.)"
