That's the law here in California (no smoking indoors, even bars, clubs and
concert halls).  A pretty stupid one, if you ask me (and I don't even smoke
tobacco - yuck! gross!).  One doesn't exactly go to a bar or a rock show to
be exposed to a "healthy" atmosphere.  Fortunately, the law isn't very well
enforced, at least in the Bay Area.

Although now that my flatmate is tending bar for a living, she's starting
to see the advantage of the law (and, unlike me, she IS a smoker).

So light 'em while you still can ...
