He also, with apologies to Dave and everyone else, is IMO probably the only
HW member other than Calvert, and maybe Turner, with the nescessary
combination of whatever it is it takes to cut it as a solo act or sole focal
point of a band. I can only remember Dave's 'Earthed to the Ground' LP, but
I thought that was emminently forgettable. Of course that came at the
absolute nadir of HW's output quality anyway, AFAIC.
