OFF: Olde games

Actually, I got to relive the nostalgia of my youth, and recently
installed a BBC Micro emulator.  I was very pleasantly surprised how
many of the old games stood the test of time, often due to their surreal
plotlines or settings, but on the whole, yes, they pretty much paled.
But, I have to admit that it was exciting to fire up ye olde Alien-8
once again, and still find it immensely playable.  (And, yes, I'm still
hopeless at it.:)

Some games are indeed timeless.  (Or maybe I'm overly unsophisticated.:)
