HW: Krel, Spacehead

Just thought I'd drop a line regarding Krel.
(one of the top 2 Space rock bands - EVER - I won't say in which position
though!) Even Dave said (back in 1992) that Krel were one of his favourite
bands!

I was going through my Krel collection at the weekend, and archiving my Krel
tapes onto mini-disc. For the record, the known Krel archive is as follows:

1990 (?) "Ancient Tales" (?) a low key release of HW covers and early
versions of Krel tracks
1991 "Who's Next on This", first official Krel cassette
1992 "Dark Star", released to coincide with the 1992 HW Tepee support
slot
1992 "The Shed", never released, but one of the best tapes. Same material
as on the HW tour.
1992 "Live at Reading, May 1992" superb 45 minute M-desk tape,
includes "Where Are They Now?"
1992 "Scientific Fiction", Solo Tape of Martin M, never released
1993 "Earth Zero", third official release
1994 "About Time" pre-version of the CD, different versions and many
different tracks
1996 "Deeper" ambient solo material from Martin M. Unreleased.
1997 "Ad Astra", first CD, released by Andy G, on the Dead Earnest label

There are also a few other live Krel tapes doing the rounds too. Mr Dibs
(of Spacehead Fame) appears on everything (except Martin's solo stuff) up to
1993's "Earth Zero".

The CD of "Ad Astra" was THE best Space Rock CD of 1997 (remember, the year
of DH!), and there's at least 3 more CD's worth of archive that could - no
SHOULD be released (Come on Andy - how about some of the archive being
released on Dead Earnest ????)

I thought I'd share the information with you, as I know that a lot of
HW-type folk really enjoy Krel's music.
I have one question. Does anybody have a copy of the first tape, as I am
missing the cover, and don't know the titles of some of the tracks?

Best wishes,

Guy T.
