NEW FROM WORONZOW
THE BEVIS FROND: Valedictory Songs
A new set of superb songs, hand-crafted by hand. Nick
is in superlative form on this killer studio outing. He
goes to town on a variety of instruments, guitars,
organs, mellotrons and sitars. Backed throughout by
Ade Shaw on bass and Andy Ward on drums, with a fab
guest appearance from Bari Watts, Nick shifts gear from
frantic psych to lilting folk to out and out pop to
powerhouse rock and back again. Available on CD with
full lyric booklet, or limited edition 180gm double vinyl
in heavy card sleeve with lyric sheet. People who've
heard advance copies reckon it's the best Frond album
ever, and who are we to disagree?
CD; £11 plus postage.  Limited edition Double vinyl;
£17 plus postage.

THE ALCHEMYSTS: Zero Zen
Over the years, The Alchemysts have developed into
one of the UKs finest power trios. Their all too rare live
outings have become better and better, which has
resulted in hearty praise from such luminaries as Jello
Biafra and Mark Arm. Zero Zen is their fourth album,
and, as far as we're concerned, by far their best. The
writing is strong, the playing is assured and the overall
feel is one of Stooged-out psychedelia. Hard, wild and
in your boat. If you like your feedback through an
Orange Cab this one's for you. Available on CD with full
lyric booklet.
CD; £11 plus postage.

CD Postage; UK: £1, Europe: £2, Elsewhere: £3
LP Postage; UK: £2, Europe: £3, Elsewhere: £4
If you buy both titles, you only have to pay 1 lot of
postage.
N.B: Both titles will be released in CD format in the USA
on Rubric.

THE GREAT VALEDICTORY ALL-DAYER
We're sure you'll be pleased to know that when we
return from Terrastock 4 in Seattle, we'll be doing an all-
day London show. This is basically where we bid you all
a Frond Farewell for the time being. Due to certain
circumstances beyond our proverbial control, The Frond
will not be doing any more live work for the foreseeable
future. Without wishing to be too mysterious, it's a bit
personal and completely unavoidable. Hopefully,
everything will work out okay and this lay-off won't be
forever, but right now, we just can't be sure. Anyway
we've lined up an absolutely brilliant day's
entertainment for you. It'll take place at
THE STANDARD, WALTHAMSTOW (which is directly
opposite
Blackhorse Road tube station) on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER
19.
Doors open at 3pm, first band on at 3.30 prompt.
Admission will be £8 on the door.
We're pricing it a bit higher than usual because there'll
be a lot of performers and we want to make sure
everyone gets a bit of dosh. And, of course, it's an all-
dayer., and the venue costs more to hire. So who'll be
on? Okay, get your head round this lot;
THE BEVIS FROND, THE ALCHEMYSTS, THE LUCKY
BISHOPS,
THE OUTSKIRTS OF INFINITY (Original line-up, back
together for this show only)
PAT ORCHARD, EARTH BELOW, plus guest appearances
by
TONY HILL, RUSTIC ROD GOODWAY, AARON SHAW,
MICK CROSSLEY, JIMMY WINSTON
and almost certainly a few more. Sounds from RADIO
NEVER SAY DIE.
This really is one you shouldn't miss. Hope to see you
there. Love Nick & Ade.
