He was with another Belgian - both going to Motorhead.
The comments in full: the played for too long (eh!), they were too loud (eh! eh), they were under-rehearsed (eh! eh! eh!), and the lights were too bright (doh!) at this point the mini-cab driver was giving me sideways looks as if to say "who is this knob-end". I was looking about for hidden cameras thinking this is a wind-up surely.

Hey,that Belgium guy wasn't me.Do you have his adress or name?
Want to make contact with him.
Must say my first negative comments are overshadowed with the highlights.

        What can I say? Awesome!!
For me it summed up Hawkwind. It rocked, bit rough in places, suprises, the vibe on stage appeared to be good (I was two feet from it), and it worked! The highlights - too many to remember: Hurry On Sundown, Dave Brock letting it rip, Steve Swindells on Shot Down, Huw on Moonglum, Nik/Lemmy/Dave/Simon/Huw/Ron all out front, Lemmy and Dave on the Space Ritual songs, the crowd reaction down front as Lemmy's face appeared from behind the speakers, Tim Blake on synths.....
apart from the music, meeting people in the Beehive, meeting even more people in the venue before and during the gig, talking to Huw on leaving the venue.
Low points: beer off after Hawkwind, having to listen to a stream of negativity about the show from a Belgian guy I shared a taxi with (Hawkwind are not Mel C - thank ****), nothing else. Sad to hear about Adrian. And a shame about Simon King....may be the next time.

        Dave
