Just made it back home after a 10 hour flight....here my quick rendition of
it all in light of an extremely lack of sleep.......

Just want to say to everyone involved that it was an awesome effort, and
worth every minute of it ! Aside from the red-headed distraction (Wow!) at
the Beehive, it was great to put some faces to names and meet some fellow
Hawkfans. The concert was dream come true..........The last time I saw
Hawkwind was about 12 years ago in LA (I think it was the Xenon Codes
tour.....(. That show seemed more consistent soundwise and structurally,
but this was a treat, despite some of the problems afore mentioned in other
posts here. Sure, there were bad moments (the sound was horrible for a
couple of hours, and yes, the awful noise for hours of what sounded like
jackhammers in the foyer!) But without getting into the intricasies of it
all, it was great to be there and to experience Hawkwind once again as they
should be! Sprit of the Age was definitely a highlite! And ferrchrissake,
how often will we see Lemmy play with the Mothership for an hour?! Hope to
be there for the Chrismas show, though I will be eating those 12 packs of
frozen bean burritos for sustinence for a while until a ticket can be
afforded....

Motorhead was bombastic as usual, and yeas, it was a really wierd
"surprise" seeing Brian May accompany them for the last part of the
show....

I did manage to get some sound and video clips of both shows, and would like
to share them at an appropriate site....maybe Jim Lasco's or whereever....

Gotta get some sleep!
