        That mail wasn't meant to sound as if I was accusing CDS of
profiteering! I was just trying to stress how even you'd taken a loss on
it I didn't see how Richard and Jerry could have made very much. I'm quite
prepared to believe they took a loss on it.

        I've played it enough now to come to an opinion now, and this is
that it's very good. I think Hawkwind's attempts to "go techno" have been
doomed quite often because they started with rock, and the rhythms aren't
the same. Star Nation started with the techno rhythms and built space-rock
and some of it's great and all of it's good. I particularly like the bit
where `Coup Sticks' disintegrates into noise. I just don't think Jerry can
sing very well, and I'm not sure about the quality of the words Steve
Hayes got to read. But basically, yes, let there be more, there's a lot
that can be done here and I look forward to it on the basis of what I
profoundly hope is no more than a sample. Yours,
