Hi,
Oh, you mean that old 45rpm single.
Bought myself a copy a few years back.
Here's how it happened ....

Me: I'm a big HW fan
My Boss: Oh I've got one of their singles from the 70's
Me: Silver Machine I expect, has it got the sleeve?
My Boss: Can't remember, I'll dig it out tonight and bring it in tomorrow
(Next Day)
My Boss: Here's the single I was talking about
Me: Gulp (quaking in boots at thought of possibly scoring a copy of HoS)
(Thinks: Stay calm Dacombe, act cool, just show casual interest)
Oh right, yeah, Hurry On Sundown, that's their first single, shame
it's not Silver Machine.
I'll buy it off you if you like.
My Boss: Yeah, OK, how about £1?
Me: (Producing £1 quicker than something that produces something very
quick).
       There you go, ta.
(Had to remain calm for the rest of the day ..... failed dismally)
Jez
