Wise words indeed, Mike.  For one, folks should check they're not
sending mail in HTML format to mailing lists/groups that may have been
(recently) configured to reject it.  Secondly, it may be that the mail
relay you use has appeared in one of the RBL databases (e.g., as an
"open relay"), and so you should complain to your ISP about that one.
(Doug Pearson and Keith Henderson abruptly dropped off BOC-L due to
that.)

Having said all that, some list owners might see an incessant barrage of
repeated quoted messages with "me too!" or "LOL!" prepended as a denial
of service attack on their list, and take appropriate steps... >;-)
