Interesting article.

I came very close to getting a job as Assistant Mastertape Librarian at
Polygram records in London, got down to the last 2 people, and didn't get
it. Devestating :-(

I got a tour round the recording studios, they let me have a look at some of
the tapes by one of my fave bands(All About Eve).

There was stuff stacked everywhere, and piled on the floor in the corner was
like Elton Johns entire mastertape back catalog, WHERE IT BELONGS LOL

A Fascinating Experience.
