That's a great thought!  I could imagine him dueling with Simon House
during the middle section, trading his funky-slapped bass licks off with
the distorted violin leads ... that could be one of the spots (along
with "Time For Sale" where his un-Hawkwind style of bass playing would work
quite well with Hawkwind).
