HW: Canterbury Festival

The Astoria HawkXmas show....I've absolutely no idea how many miles I put on
my shoes that night/morning, but I walked from the Astoria to the after-gig
party, then hoofed it to the after-party party, then wandered to the flat I
was staying at (getting lost once or twice along the way) in Shepherds
Bush. It's a good thing that I was, er, um, not in the, uhhh, mood to be
concentrating too hard on the distances involved (thanks in good part to
Julie and Merrick, and Eli, and other kind souls).

next topic - the longest distance you have ever walked to see a band - in my
case (and this is cheating) I had to walk back 15 miles from seeing the Gary
Moore Band in concert back in '74 but I knew that was going to be the case
before I went, so it still counts!!
