The Hour Has Come At Last That I Kan Now Reveal The Real Truth.

The craft on the cover of the Hall of the Mountain Grill is in fact
a large chunk of Mir that came crashing down to Earth and ended up
somwhere in a yet to be determined trackless wilderness - most
likely someplace in Western Australia. The panic and hysteria
caused by the descent of this enormous fragment initiated a massive
encaphalic aural energy surge so powerful that it disrupted the
fabric of the spacetime continuum and blasted backwards in time
conveying an image map so intense that it was picked up by Barney
Bubbles while he was dozing in a deckchair in his back garden one
hot English summer afternoon. He immediately made the painting
and turned it into a cover so that Hawkwind could distribute it with
their new album and the whole world would be warned in time.

Wonder if it worked?
