Agreed!  Now, I like Yes, and have seen them a few times, but if you were to
do a listening test between the version of 'Close To The Edge' (or
'Roundabout' or 'Starship Trooper' or 'The Gates of Delirium' or....) that
they played on their 2000 Masterworks tour, and any version of these songs
since '72 (or '71 or '75 or...) I would be hard-pressed to tell the
difference.

all this works well with a band like Hawkwind, but the subtleties and
nuances of having forty versions of Pink Floyd's 'Echoes' on live tapes, is
vastly outweighed by the yawn factor. See also: 'Supper's Ready', 'Close to
The Edge', etc.....
