That's a great song!  One of the things I like most about the 77/78 lineup
is the superb sense of melodicism that Simon House and Adrian Shaw (co-
authors of "Jack of Shadows" IIRC) brought to the band.  Very evident in
Simon's compositions ("High Rise", "Damnation Alley" midsection, and the
various instrumentals).  And Adrian Shaw's bass playing is as diametrically
opposed to the Lemmy/Davey model as you could possibly imagine.  Yet, he
fit in with Hawkwind perfectly.  Just another example of the band being
willing to re-invent themselves and not stay stuck in the same old rut ...
