I'd love to be there, but at 1730 GMT I will have had Gov't Mule kicking
my ASS for about half an hour at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem, NC!!  I hope
the Hawkwind IRC chat is not a one-off, and I can perhaps catch the next
one.

By all accounts, last night's tour opener by the Mule was a real solid
two sets of mostly Mule material and familiar covers, letting us know
that this is Gov't Mule, and not some project/supergroup of Warren +
Matt + Dave + Chuck.  Someone at the gig was on a cell phone phoning his
wife the setlist as it unfolded who, in turn, e-mailed it to the mailing
list as she got it.  Someone else has digital pics up of the gig today.
Talk about up to date information!  (Croydon attendees take note.;) :-)

I have to say it's odd to see a Fender bass on stage at a Gov't Mule
show, but, then again, this is the New School of Gov't Mule... :-)

I can't wait for Ziggy's tonight!
