... my halloween costume this year (in remarkably poor taste) involved a
lab coat, facemask, rubber gloves, several vials of white powder, and
envelopes "addressed" to "the librull nooz meedia", "spoketator of the
sennit", etc.  I didn't wear it in public for fear of being arrested.

Of course I wore a lab coat for the Hawkwind tribute gig I did (even though
I was filling the Calvert/House/Dettmar roles, not Dave's), and have for a
few others.  As far as *uncomfortable* gig outfits, the plastic biohazard-
type jumpsuit I wore in the Devo tribute band was pretty excruciating,
especially with a bulky skateboarding helmet on (fortunately the yellow
jumpsuits only lasted about half a set before we'd strip down to shorts and
t-shirts).
