When hippies ruled the world

I have heard Sabbath call themselves "old hippies" twenty years ago in an
interview but I think that when they formed in Birmingham they denied being
hippies in anyway and said there were no hippies where they came from as
California and Birmingham are totally different. Nevertheless they used to
get beaten up for being hippies. Zeppelin were hippies or Plant was. Long
haired rock n' rollers might be a better term for all of them.
