John Lydon mentions his early influence by Hawkwind (even a picture of him in his "hawkwind phase". long-haired,
but still pretty rotten ;)  in his autobiography 'no blacks, no dogs, no irish'. quite an entertaining book,
written by the same two people that wrote sonny barger's autobiography (don't people ever write them themselves?)
'hell's angel - the life and times(*sic*) of...'.
