I would assume that tracks 1-13 are the first CD, and 14-25 are on the
second. The second CD would appear to be from the 25 jan 90 Nottingham
show (6-piece lineup w/House & Wishart) previously released on video, but
the first CD would have to be from later in 1990, after Simon House left
(the "Angels of Death"/"Golden Void" opener is the giveaway), but with
Bridget still in the band. Or am I totally wrong about that?

But do we really need duplicate versions of "Out of the Shadows", "Snake
Dance", "Night of the Hawks", "7th Star" (aka "Star Song"
aka "Eons"), "Back in the Box" AND "Ejection" (especially since there are
already 1990 versions of these on 'California Brainstorm')? I'd consider
the versions with Simon to be much more essential ... but instead of the
other (Simon-less) versions, I'd prefer to see some of the other songs the
band performed in 1990 (and 1989, with the same/similar lineup) such
as "Needle Gun", "Wind of Change", "Dream Worker", "Damage of Life", "Right
Stuff", "Master of the Universe", "Urban Guerilla", "Lost Chronicles", and
that version of "Death Trap" with the chorus from "Kings of Speed" thrown
in.

Sorry to nitpick, but I'm very excited about this release, as I like the
89/90 era of Hawkwind more than just about anything else (possible
exception: spring '84 Earth Ritual tour w/Nik and Fred Reeves and a few
guests) they did in the 15 years between Bob's departure and Ron's
arrival. I will be quite happy to have this one sitting next to the other
3 major live releases from 89/90 ('Palace Springs', 'Glastonbury 90',
and 'California Brainstorm').
