SW England is full of folk who hold their trousers up with string [-cf "The Wurzels" ] - so this tactic could lead to some unfotunate confusions. Rolling one trouser leg up above the knee is, I believe, a favoured stratagem in some circles. Though this is, perhaps, not sufficeintly subtle to gain wide acceptance. Why not simply shout - "Anyone here from BOC-L" ?
