Hawkwind Summer Camp

A big thanks to Dave, Kris and the crew for putting this on. The bands
were great and clearly enjoying themselves. Hawkwind's set was storming
and it's good to hear Brainbox Pollution again. Thanks to Tim for being
cool when I didn't recognise him. A great weekend and we couldn't have
had better weather. Well done to the guys at the cafe who worked very
hard - I guess they didn't quite expect to be in a monopoly situation.
Great to see the lightshow again - thanks to you guys. Thanks also to
Merrick and Julie for hospitality at the fire and for the pile of cans.
Sorry no Beerhenge - structural failure!

The downsides were few, especially as the camper van had its own toilet
(though emptying the cassette at the local pub was a bit of a downer). I
guess more toilets would mean fewer pastel ribbons decorating the
hedges.

It was great to see all you guys again and hopefully we'll do it all
again next summer. Next stop: War of the Worlds!
