Ramones, AC/DC, Motorhead

[Steven Skane]

Pete Wells is an excellent player. The Pete Wells band were featured one
night on the same Aussie show that had Hawkwind. In the interviews he was
articulate and straight. In the gig he was very smacked out (notorious
heroin addict) but played and sang very well. If the show is repeated it is
well worth taping. He plays a Les Paul (what else) but obviously Gibson
wouldn't give him one cheap or free because he had tape over the Gibson name
on the headstock.
