Ramones, AC/DC, Motorhead

Not likely. He only play's Gibson LP's and cheap copies dont sound like that
although I have an 8 year old Epi LP Custom with a deep ballsy sound. It is
actually pretty good if too muddy but I would use it for gigs if I was in a
band. It is actually deeper but fuzzier sounding than my LP Classic goldtop
but that has Page ceramic pickups. No way I would use the goldtop at gigs
unless I was hanging on to it the whole time. If you want to hear Wells get
a Rose Tattoo song from Audiogalaxy. You will quickly agree that only a
genuine LP sounds like that - sheer grunt.

But if you can't afford a genuine LP the top of the range Epiphones will
make you very happy. My Epi LP Custom was my first reasonable guitar and
when non players look at my guitars it pisses me off that the Epi is the one
they like most because it is black with gold trim.

This is off topic stuff is probably annoying some people so I suggest
further posts can be moved to Mikewind 2000 where anyone can rave on as much
as they like about anything.
