OFF: Dead acts (was: Re: Star One - Space Metal)

usually the really, really down-and out boring acts end their careers touring
norway.... we've got literally shit loads of examples (to name a few at random:
smokie).
problem is, with the risk of sounding like a snob ;-)  , the norwegian audience
seems to be drawn to these dying ships like flies to ....something smelly. like
underwear.
if no such dead acts are available, the record companies doesn't despair. it's
time for plan #2:
get a tired housewife (no offense!) with four kids and no dreams left. tell her
to to do uninspired cover versions of 60s trad country. run ads on norwegian
telly. instant hit!
