You said in your inaugural e-mail to this list that you were thinking
of attending the upcoming tour. So, I have a suggestion for you. Why
don't you e-mail or write to Mission Control and ask them for a
backstage pass, explaining your situation. That way, you can ask Dave
himself where you might get ahold of MPEGs of his back catalogue,
based on what you already have to trade and give away. Dave is very
helpful, and I'm sure he'd be glad to discuss this with you.

Either that, or he will kick your ass. :-)

BTW, everyone, please send me 8-bit .au copies of every Hawkwind
release. You see, my collection is upstairs, but I want to play them
here, downstairs, and it's so inconvenient to go up and get them. I
have EVERYTHING Hawkwind (plus Friends & Relations) have ever released
or will ever release---honest, I do. [Shows both hands to demonstrate
no fingers are crossed.] So please, don't think I'm trying to scam
anyone. This is purely an issue of 8-bit .au format availability (and
sloth:)...

Cheers,

Paul.
