Off: Metallica

Someone had to bring up Metallica. Sounds like a new idea for a "I hate
Metallica" list.

Personally, I thought of them as rehashed metal, and not very original, and
the singer has always sounded like a pimply faced wannabe rock star from day
one, though to be contradictory, maybe one or two of their compositions are
worthwhile, though not worth buying albums......except for stealing tunes
from Napster for fun and then deleting them off the hard drive. Lars,
though perhaps "intellectual", always seemed to me to be a pompous
know-it-all who thinks they have a corner on the genre.

Motorhead, on the other hand, is the "real thing", as are many other bands I
can go on naming who are truly original.

That is my opinion, for what it's worth. Never owned a Metallica, or Def
Lepperd album, for that matter, and never will.

That's my opinion of Metallica, for what it's worth.
