I can't answer that question (but I would bet that a lot more people
attend his shows than buy his albums), but I had to add that I was
listening to 'Heaven and Hell' for the first time in ages last weekend,
and was struck with two thoughts:

1) The music is sooooo much better than the last two Ozzy-era Sabbath
albums.
2) The lyrics are sooooooo completely ridiculous!

(And Ian Gillan's autobiography has some hilarious anecdotes from the tour
he did with Sabbath - complete with Stonehenge set that wouldn't fit the
venues - involving a dwarf nicknamed "Ronnie".)
