ADMIN: Mailing list migration

Folks,

In order to provide better service, we're going to be migrating the BOC-L
mailing list to a different LISTSERV server.

We have installed the new mailing list server at listserv.ispnetinc.net to
handle this (and some other) mailing lists. The BOC-L mailing list will be
migrated from listserv.spc.edu to listserv.ispnetinc.net. We're expecting to
make the move this Friday (Jun 6, 2003) between 10 PM and 12 AM (EDT). [Yes,
that's a 2 hour window, not a 14 hour one. :-)]

Mail sent to the various boc-l email aliases on listserv.spc.edu will be
automatically forwarded to listserv.ispnetinc.net for a period of time.
However, email commands sent to listserv at listserv.spc.edu (for example, to
unsubscribe or to change your user options) will need to be sent to to the
new listserv at listserv.ispnetinc.net address.

In addition, the web-searchable archives of the boc-l list will move to
http://listserv.ispnetinc.net/archives. You'll also be able to manage your
subscription options from that web page as well.

I know that the BOC-L list address (and archive address) is published on some
web sites that some of you have control over. Could you please ensure that
those sites are updated with the new list subscription and archive details?

If you experience any difficulties related to this conversion, feel free to
contact either myself (ben at tmk.com) or Terry Kennedy (terry at tmk.com) at the
address below. Terry's the one who's going to be making the actual move, so
something that looks like it's an abject failure might want to go to him with
a CC to me.

If there are any questions about this pending move, please contact me
(off-list). Similarly, questions after the list is moved and don't be shy
about sending a "Thank you, kind sir" to Terry once the move is complete. :-)
