HW - MTV 2 Hair Rock Day

Just wondered if any other group members have been watching MTV 2's hair
rock day. Whilst cheerfully, albeit painfully reliving my youth  by
watching videos by the likes of Poison, Kiss, Whitesnake (ok 1 out of 3
aint bad!) imagine my supprise when some 40 minutes into an hour of what
were billed as "hair rock anthems", what should be played but the full
length version of "silver machine". whilst it's true to say that all
members of the band were very hairy I wouldn't personally class them
as "hair rock" which must beggar the question whoever put this together
must have had there own agenda whebn this is included in front of the
likes of Motley Crue, Ratt and Skid Row.
anyway it was great to see and I also see that Jill has beaten me to
posting this to the group, oh well never mind, at least one other person
saw it!

p.s i assume that the band don't get a royalty payment for that showing?
