Any serious record collector/dealer will tell you that the only records
that are MINT are records that have never been played.  If a record has
been played once, but the vinyl is still in perfect condition, it cannot
be called Mint, hence the "Near Mint" (or "Mint Minus") grade.

£50 is small change for seriously collectable records.

I believe that someone else on the list can do a better job of explaining
the laws of "supply and demand" than I can ...
