Sheffield Gig

To echo Mark Storer's words - Wow, what a gig Mark seemed to have the set
list about right from what I can remember.

The venue (Corporation) was the smallest venue I've seen HW play.
At first, I was disappointed that there'd be no dancers, and the *very* low
ceiling would limit the lightshow. I was wrong, the lights were fine, and
the band were amazing.

Dumpy was, well Dumpy. We all love 'im, nuff said.

>From the moment HW hit the stage, it was obvious that the band were in an
excellent mood. Dave's guitar failed in the first number, but where that
might have been frustrating, the band just shrugged & got on with it.
It was a very hot gig, in all ways, AD commenting that'it was like 'playing
in a sauna'.

Dave seemed especially happy, and put a lot of feeling into his singing,
and when his borrowed guitar was all sorted, he gave it full dose on that
front aswell.

I've never seen Richard so chatty either, maybe the intimate nature of the
gig helped in that respect.

It was up there as one of the best gigs I've seen HW do.

Neil.
