November 13, 2005: NEW RADIO SHOWS + MAIL ORDER GOODIES

MAIL ORDER NEWS: Lots of new stuff these past couple weeks. The long awaited
Secret Saucer CD is now available, a space rock all star lineup with members
of Architectural Metaphor, Quarkspace, Sun Machine, Nick Riff and more. And
while I was ordering from Dead Earnest Records I restocked some copies of
the Space Mirrors album that sold so well last year. Incredible space rock
and metal. We’ve got the first in the Mooch remaster series, featuring an
unreleased 1996 album from Mooch. The brand new Many Bright Things album,
featuring guest appearances from Nick Saloman of the Bevis Frond and punk
king Jello Biafra in a very psychedelic setting. Porcupine Tree fans will
love UK band Day Shift. I got a few titles from Record Heaven sub-label
Transubstans, including Svarte Pan, Skyron Orchestra and Radiomöbel. And
finally, I got some more copies of the Spacious Mind’s “Pickin’ Berries N
Playin’ Blues, which sold out so quickly a few weeks ago. For details and
ordering information you can go directly to the online store at
http://www.aural-innovations.com/store/.

Tapegerm Radio (show #4)

Tapegerm was started in May 2000 by a few folks who were making mixes of
loops taken from old cassette tape albums, homemade tracks, and loops of our
own for a new project being run at http://homemademusic.com. After a few
months a few of us thought it would be cool to start collaborating together
by dropping our loops into a pool shared by everyone in the group and see
what kind of music came out. Basically we're a bunch of artists who have fun
combining sounds in different ways and hearing how other artists combine
those sounds in other ways. Visit our web site at http://tapegerm.com
