Ozric Tentacles, Thunderdogs and Damidge. The show consists of 3 loooooong
space jams. I’ve got the debut CD from Finnish space/prog band Taipuva

indeed. Also in is the new solo CD from Jet Jaguar’s Charles van de Kree.
TOTAL space rock! And finally, I’ve restocked the Spaceship Landing CD which

Aural Innovations Space Rock Radio show #149: Alien Planetscapes Special and
tribute to Doug “Dr Synth” Walker

Alien Planetscapes was one of the great pioneering members of the American
underground Space Rock scene for over 2 decades. The driving force behind
the band throughout the years was Doug "Dr Synth" Walker, who passed away on
April 4th. Doug had an encyclopedic knowledge of all forms of music, and was
an all around extraordinary human being. This is a 2 part show, featuring
Alien Planetscapes music from throughout the years, and includes commentary
from Doug between tracks, taken from a 1998 interview conducted for Aural
Innovations. Be sure and listen to BOTH parts of the show. Ye shall be
rewarded.

Note that Scott and Bonnie at Starry Night Records have been tasked with
selling Doug Walker’s record collection, which is HUGE. You can visit their
web site at www.starrynightrecords.com. They will also be selling much of it
on Ebay. Search for seller StarryNightRecords.

Tapegerm Radio (show #9)

Tapegerm was started in May 2000 by a few folks who were making mixes
of loops taken from old cassette tape albums, homemade tracks, and
loops of our own for a new project being run at
http://homemademusic.com. After a few months a few of us thought it
would be cool to start collaborating together by dropping our loops
into a pool shared by everyone in the group and see what kind of music
came out. Basically we're a bunch of artists who have fun combining
sounds in different ways and hearing how other artists combine those
sounds in other ways. Visit our web site at http://tapegerm.com.
