No.  Read the review again.  This guy clearly doesn't have any interest 
whatsoever in the actual music, he only cares about style and attitude, 
and lyrics that are deeply symbolic of man's struggle against his 
socio-political environment.

This 'review' is typical of the groupthink of British music journalism. 
  It's the reason anything with any depth of musical content is 
marginalised in Britain.  It's the reason there's huge exposure to 
pseudo-intellectual poseurs like Franz Ferdinand, or self-destructive 
idiots like Pete Docherty.  It's the reason why many British bands that 
actually produce good music are more popular in The Netherlands than 
they are in Britain.
