_Ozric_ Tentacles, with a "z" (that will make it easier to find when
searching Amazon and the like).

I'd say the best stuio album may well still be _Erpland_ (1990). I
think it's worth hearing their live output as well, and I've always had
a soft spot for the _Live Underslunky_ live album (1992). Actually,
I've heard very good things about the _Spice Doubt_ live album (later in
the '90s), including that it's better than _Live Underslunky_, but I've
never actually heard the recordings, I think. I probably _ought_ to get
it, but there's so much to listen to ....

There's a best of compilation called _Eternal Wheel_, but I've not heard
that either. It might be worth checking out simply because there are a
fair number of Ozrics albums, though many people feel that quite a lot
of it sounds very sameish, and unless you're a diehard fan, you can
survive happily on an incomplete collection .... There _is_ an
evolution in their sound, actually, but it seems to be driven mostly by
them becoming less and less like a band and more and more like an Ed
Wynne solo project ;)

Cheers,
Carl
